Intelligent Greenhouse: Analysis of Core Advantages Reshaping Modern Agriculture

II. Precise Water and Fertilizer Management: Practicing the Concept of Green Development

In China's agricultural production, the problem of "high input and low utilization" in chemical fertilizer application has always been a pain point restricting industrial upgrading. Currently, the problem of unbalanced chemical fertilizer input structure is prominent, and the excessive input of phosphate fertilizer is common, which not only leads to unbalanced nutrient ratio and rising planting costs but also causes serious resource waste and environmental pressure. Data shows that the average utilization rate of chemical fertilizers in China is more than 10% lower than that in developed countries, with the utilization rate of nitrogen fertilizer only 30-35%, and that of phosphate fertilizer as low as 10-25%. The unabsorbed fertilizers have become one of the important causes of environmental pollution, especially water eutrophication.
The integrated water and fertilizer system equipped in intelligent greenhouses fundamentally solves this problem. By accurately calculating the nutrient needs of crops at different growth stages, the system can directly deliver water and fertilizers to the crop roots in the optimal ratio, realizing "on-demand supply". This model not only increases the water resource utilization rate to more than 90% but also greatly improves the chemical fertilizer utilization rate, truly achieving the green planting goal of water conservation, fertilizer conservation, and energy conservation.

III. Full-Process Intelligent Operation and Maintenance: Greatly Liberating Agricultural Productivity

In traditional greenhouse planting, daily management such as sunshade, ventilation, temperature increase, and irrigation consumes a lot of labor, and relying on manual experience is prone to regulation deviations. Intelligent greenhouses, however, realize "unmanned on-duty and precise operation" through automatic control systems—all equipment can operate automatically according to preset programs. The system automatically completes operations such as sunshade net retraction, fan and water curtain start-stop, and irrigation and fertilization based on real-time monitored environmental data, without excessive manual intervention.
This full-process intelligent management model not only frees growers from heavy physical labor but also reduces human errors through precise regulation, lowers production risks, and realizes efficient planting that saves time, labor, and costs, providing strong support for large-scale and standardized agricultural production.
